Phlebotomy and Lab Testing

Within the Polyclinic we aim to keep investigations as streamlined as possible. There is nothing worse than being sent pillar to post, anxiously waiting for important results. All bloods are drawn on site, and processed using centrifuge ready for the labs. Based on your schedule and needs, we can either interpret data in person, via skype or phone call ensures clinical questions become definitive answers.

Why is our testing unique?

The recurring theme is root cause medicine (RCM); our testing addresses underlying causes rather than chasing symptoms, to provide effective treatment packages. It is common practice to have part of these tests performed by your GP but often tests analyse single components of a larger machine at play, missing crucial data. Equally, due to growing constraints on the health service, some of these tests aren’t provided due to facility or funding restrictions.

To standardise treatment, conventional tests assess ‘normal’ ranges for a general populous, which understandably are quite broadset. We need to step away from this notion of disorders being a on/off switch and accept these are often transient and spectral disorders. With this in mind, a lot of clients can sit at a sub-clinical disorder level for some time, affecting health and performance. Our focus has always been to drive preventative care over reactive and costly medicine in light of the above.

Phlebotomy

Depending on your specific needs, we’re able to test and assess a wide range of critical markers from hair, urine, blood and saliva. Using these samples we can gather critical information to assess hormone and vitamin levels, along with food intolerances and much more. This will guide us in our holistic approach to optimise your mental, physical and medical state.
